Taken just above Loch Morlich at Aviemore, Scotland. The light was chnaging every 10 mins or as the clouds whipped acroos the sky and the landscape was bathed briefly in sunlight. This area is one of my favourite spots. At one time the whole hillside would have been been covered in pine tress like the one in the picture. The path is a necessary evil: while it doesn't belong there it does allow people to get out onto the hills and prevent too much erosion. This one is particulary attractive with its chunks of local granite.
